We want you to be completely satisfied with Basketball Recruiting Platform. This policy outlines our refund and cancellation terms to ensure transparency and fairness.

1. Subscription Plans

We offer the following subscription plans:

  • Free Plan: No cost, limited features
  • Player Plan: $9.99/month - For high school basketball players
  • Coach Plan: $19.99/month - For college coaches and recruiters
  • Premium Plan: $29.99/month - All features included

All paid plans are billed monthly in advance. Annual billing options may be available with discounted rates.

2. 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee

First-Time Subscribers

If you're a first-time subscriber to any paid plan, you have 14 days from your initial payment to request a full refund if you're not satisfied.

No questions asked. We'll process your refund within 5-7 business days.

  1. Contact support at support@basketballrecruiting.com
  2. Include your account email and reason for refund (optional)
  3. We'll process your refund within 24-48 hours
  4. Refund appears in your account within 5-7 business days

3. Cancellation Policy

3.1 How to Cancel

You can cancel your subscription at any time through:

  • Account Settings: Go to Dashboard → Subscription → Cancel Subscription
  • Email: Contact support@basketballrecruiting.com
  • Stripe Portal: Manage billing directly through our payment processor

3.2 What Happens When You Cancel

  • Your subscription remains active until the end of your billing period
  • You keep all premium features until that date
  • No additional charges will be made
  • Your account automatically downgrades to Free Plan
  • Your data is preserved (profiles, stats, media)

3.3 Immediate Cancellation

If you want immediate cancellation (forfeiting remaining days), contact support. We generally cannot refund partial months except during the 14-day guarantee period.

4. Refund Eligibility

Eligible for Refund

  • Within 14-day guarantee period (first-time)
  • Technical issues preventing platform use
  • Duplicate charges or billing errors
  • Unauthorized charges
  • Account closure by us

Not Eligible for Refund

  • After 14-day guarantee expires
  • Partial month refunds (pro-rated)
  • Change of mind after trial period
  • Account violations or Terms breach
  • Unused features or low usage

5. Billing Disputes

If you notice an incorrect charge:

  1. Contact us first: Email support@basketballrecruiting.com within 30 days
  2. Provide details: Transaction date, amount, reason for dispute
  3. We investigate: Response within 2 business days
  4. Resolution: Correction or refund if error confirmed

Important: Please contact us before filing a chargeback with your bank. Chargebacks may result in account suspension and we're always willing to work with you directly to resolve billing issues.

6. Free Trial (If Applicable)

When we offer free trials:

  • You can cancel anytime during the trial without charge
  • You'll receive an email reminder before trial ends
  • After trial, you're automatically billed unless you cancel
  • One free trial per user (email address)

7. Promo Codes and Discounts

7.1 Promo Code Usage

  • Promo codes apply to first payment only (unless stated otherwise)
  • Cannot be combined with other offers
  • No cash value or refund of discount amount
  • Valid only during specified promotional period

7.2 Refunds with Promo Codes

If you paid with a promo code and request a refund within 14 days, you'll receive a refund for the amount you actually paid (discounted price).

8. Downgrading Plans

You can downgrade from a paid plan to:

  • Lower Tier: Change takes effect at next billing cycle
  • Free Plan: Same as cancellation - keep access until period ends

No refunds are provided for downgrades. You keep your current plan until the billing cycle completes.

9. Upgrading Plans

When upgrading mid-cycle, you're charged the pro-rated difference for the remaining days. The new billing cycle starts immediately at the upgraded rate.

10. Account Closure

If we close your account due to Terms of Service violations:

  • No refund is provided
  • You lose access immediately
  • Data may be deleted per our retention policy

We only close accounts for serious violations. You'll receive warnings first for minor issues.

11. Technical Issues

If the platform is unavailable for more than 24 consecutive hours due to our fault, you may be eligible for a pro-rated credit or refund for downtime. Contact support to request compensation.

12. Refund Processing

12.1 Timeline

  • Approval: Within 24-48 hours of request
  • Processing: Refund initiated to original payment method
  • Bank/Card: 5-7 business days to appear
  • International: May take up to 10 business days

12.2 Refund Method

Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the subscription. We cannot issue refunds to different cards or accounts.

13. Currency and Exchange Rates

All prices are in USD. If your bank converts currency, refunds are processed in USD and may differ slightly due to exchange rate fluctuations between payment and refund dates.

14. Fair Usage

We reserve the right to deny refunds if we detect:

  • Repeated subscription and refund requests
  • Abuse of the 14-day guarantee
  • Fraudulent activity
  • Excessive refund requests

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy at any time. Changes apply to subscriptions purchased after the update date. Existing subscriptions follow the policy in effect at time of purchase.
